Q1 : What is the minimun  and maximun age eligible for registration?

A1 : The minimun age at entry is 18 years and there is no maximun. However members who join after attaining the age of 65 years will NOT be eligible to enjoy the Free Personal Accident Insurance up to 70 years old. workshop.

Q2 : When will I recieve my SS Gold Card?

A2 : You will receive your SS Gold Card within 14 days by handor A.R. Registered mail.

Q3 : When will I be able to enjoy the benefits of the Plan F or G ?

A3 : For the services or Free P.A. insurance cover, you will be able to enjoy these benefits within 24 working hours from the date of you submission as stated in the official receipt. To enjoy the discount card benefits, you  must wait till you receive your SS Gold Card within 14 days.

Q4 : What should I do if I am Plan F member and I have bought a car and wish to upgrade my card to Plan G ?

A4 : Yes, you may upgrade your card to Plan G by filling in the Request for Change of Plan Form and pay a RM40 admin fee. However, you can't change you Introducer's name and the expiry date will remain the same.

Q5 : Is there any age limit for a car to be registered under Plan G to enjoy the motoring benefits ?

A5 : Not an the present moment. However, if the frequency of breakdowns involving old cars increases rapidly, we may impose an age limit for car registration in future.

Q6 : What will happen if I change my car ?

A6 : Please ask our Customer Service Department to send/fax you a Request  For Replacement Card Form and submit the duly completed form to us together with a RM10 payment for administrative charges.

Q7 : Can a Plan G members register a car/vehicle not belonging to him or her? 

A7 : Yes. A member can register a vehicle that is not registered in his  / her  name as long as the vehicle is not for commercial use.

Q8 : Can a member register multiple cards (own more than one card) ?

A8 : Yes. However, in order to protect the Introducer's interest, the member must always renew his / her first card with SURESAVE before he / she can renew his / her other subsequent cards.

Q9 : What if the hotels, car rental companies, workshops, retail outlets and clinics do not recognize the SS Gold Card ?

A9 : SURESAVE has contractual agreements with all of them and if you have any problems pertaining to the above, please call our 24 hours Emergency Hotline for assistance.

Q10 : What is the territorial limit to enjoy the Free Towing or Emergency Minors Roadside Repairs (labour only) ?

A10 : The territorial limits for Free Towings or emergency services for roadside repairs covers only federal roads within Peninsula Malaysia Inclusive of  Pulau Langkawi. No services will be provided "off-road" or untared roads like earth tracks. We also provide our services along tolled highways; however while the towing is free, member must pay for the toll charges imposed on the tow truck. Member have a choice to call the toll operator of the these highways who normally can reach the scene faster and they provide minor repairs and towing to the nearest toll exit for free.

Q11: Is there any limit in distance for Free Towing? If yes, what are the tow-rates that I have to pay for the additional distance of towing?

A11 : No, there is no limit in distance for towing as long as our member's vehicle is towed to our nearest panel workshop. However, if our member decides to tow his/her vehicle to other workshop not in our panel, he/she has to pay for the towing. In this case, our member must agree with the tow truck operator on the towing charges before allowing them to tow his/her vehicle.  Please understand that if we allow our members to tow to their own choice of workshop to continue being in our panel and they will not  provide prompt and efficient service to our members next time.  They may withdraw from being our panel workshop.

Q12 : What if the SURESAVE panel workshops overcharge me for repairs?

A12: Please call our Customer Service Department at 03-986 2166 and we will immediately send / fax a Customer Complaint Form to you. Once completed,  please fax it to us 03-986 1318 together with the relevant repair bill. We will investigate your complaint and if you are indeed overcharged SURESAVE will request the workshop concern to return the overcharged amount. Failure of the workshop to return this amount will result in their contract with SURESAVE to be terminated. A few cases had happened before BUT 100% of them returned the overcharged amount to our members. It does not make good business sense for the workshop to be terminated by SURESAVE because of one case.

Q13: How efficient is SURESAVE SERVICES to SS Gold Card Members ?

A13: On the motoring services, we have over 450 panel workshop with over 900 tow trucks located throughout Peninsula Malaysia including Pulau Langkawi who are ever ready to serve our members and the list of panel workshop is qrowing everyday. Our Emergency Call Centre operates 36 hours a day, 8 days a week and 13 months a year!!!. In other words, we are always at your service and we are the only motoring service provider who gives a *SERVICE GUARANTEE to our members at present.  (*please read the terms & conditions governing this Service Guarantee) 

Q14 : What will happen if the member's vehicle cannot be repaired at SURESAVE's panel workshop ?

A14: In the event SURESAVE's panel workshop cannot repair our member's vehicle, SURESAVE will arrange for the vehicle to be "repatriated" to the member's home or other workshop. However the maximun distance for Suresave Free Towing is limited to 25 km radius or 50 km (to & from) only and any additional cost for towing there after will be borne by the member at RM 1.00 per KM (day - time) or RM 1.50 per KM (nigth-time).
